    An applicant or licensee shall designate a program director who is responsible for all phases of the operation of the program, selection of staff, and quality of care provided in the program. Any delegation of duties by a program director to another staff person shall be in writing and shall not be for more than 1 year. The written delegation shall clearly identify the specific task being delegated. Delegation of duties by the program director shall be assigned only to a qualified designee and the qualifications shall be identified in the delegation. An applicant or licensee may assign a different title to this position. see full law

    (1) An applicant or licensee for MAT, residential detoxification, or inpatient service categories shall have a physician as the medical director. The medical director shall oversee all medical services performed by the program. For a program where there is only 1 physician, that physician is considered as the medical director for purposes of these rules. see full law
