(b) Be trained in addiction psychiatry or addiction medicine through continuing medical education pursuant to subrule (4) of this rule offered by the American Board of Medical Specialties, American Board of Addiction Medicine, American Society of Addiction Medicine, American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, American Association for Treatment of Opioid Dependence, American Association of Osteopathic Addiction Medicine, the Michigan counterparts of these organizations, or other national or state programs acknowledged and accepted by the department. see full law
