    B. Regardless of the schedules indicated on the certificate issued by the Drug Enforcement Administration, the certified nurse practitioner and certified nurse-midwife shall prescribe only those controlled drugs from schedules II/IIN, III/IIIN, IV, and V. A United States Drug Enforcement Administration ("DEA") number is required to prescribe these drugs. see full law
