(a) Physician training in medication assisted treatment must include the following:(1) Waiver training.(2) Training in the use of a federal Food and Drug Administration approved long acting, nonaddictive medication for the treatment of opioid dependence.(3) Treatment protocols containing best practice guidelines for the treatment of opiate dependent patients as developed under IC 12-23-18-7.5(b). see full law
